Rebecca Black Friday?

Why are people being such jerks about her and her song? I mean maybe the lyrics aren’t the greatest ever and it is a little weird that a 13 yr old is driving the car, but she has talent? Why are people being so mean????

Young Rebecca Black has hit the headlines this week. She?s trending on Twitter, she?s rocketed up the You Tube video charts and she?s in the iTunes chart. Her song Friday has been deemed by some to be the worst song EVER by the worst singer EVER. That?s quite a claim. Being the curious person that I am, I had to investigate further. For those of you who don?t know, Californian Rebecca is a mere 13 years of age and since her single ?Friday? was released on March the 11th, the official video has had over 22 MILLION hits on You Tube. That?s over 22 million in just 9 days. Rebecca?s debut musical effort was released by Ark Music, an independent label based in Hollywood, who specialise in finding, in their words, ?emerging? talent. It?s an in house affair, with the producers and writers of the song, Patrice Wilson and Clarence Jey, doubling up in videos and providing supporting rap parts within the songs. ?Friday? came to the attention of the general public after popular American blogger Tosh.O posted the video under the title ?Songwriting isn?t for Everyone.? Whilst Rebecca?s profile has been launched into the stratosphere as a result, it hasn?t been without a price. The very strong, harsh and sometimes aggressive response
