it doesn’t matter how technical your striking is or how good your chin is, how fast you are how angry you are, how good your bjj is… if you dont have wind your nothing… conditioning is the building block for any fighter, to me its the most important thing there is in fighting.. who are the top conditioned fighters in your opinion there is today? not skills just conditioning. here’s just a few that come to mind for me

diego sanchez ( he can ground n pound,scrample,brawl whatever for 30 mins straight HARD any day of the week)

clay guida(need i explain>?)

frankie edgar(this guy could prob seriously go 5 rounds with the prodigy then go fight another damn fight right after and be fine lol ok maybe a bit exaggerated but wow hes well conditioned)

Tank Abbott :)

timmafee | Sep 08, 2010

All those you are already mentioned, and I have to say GSP.

They are all cardio machines.
Frank the tank | Sep 08, 2010

GSP and Frankie Edgar for sure… that being said most light weights are, or should be, very well conditioned. Watch some WEC fights and youll see what I mean.

Looking at the heavier guys it becomes more difficult finding those well conditioned fighters, Chael Sonnen pops into mind after looking really good for 23min against Silva.

Cant think of any really heavy guys who could make this category, however I wouldnt be surprised if Brock could go 25min at full tilt. He

i think maybe sanchez can ground game this one out… sanchez via dec,.,.,. alltho i like paulo as whell…

I lean towards thiago because he has power in his hands and diego doesn’t and I believe they are close to the same in the other aspects of the game.

He has great explosiveness, ground game, and pretty good striking.

No order

Brock Lesnar (just gotta love the story, from farm boy, to collegiate wrestling champ, to WWE superstar, to legit MMA Heavyweight beating Frank Mir, Heath Herring, Randy Couture, and Carwin)

Anderson Silva- to know him is to understand him, he is showmanship, he is heart and passion, and he can put anyone out when ever the Silver Spur wants to. Even if his opponent is on steroids.

Tony Lopez- Heavyweight Champion and held and defended the Light

Soccer = England
Rugby = England
Basketball = England
Fighting = Close but England edges Mexico (John Hathaway beat Diego Sanchez Khan beat Barrera. David Haye would smash Arreola)
Baseball = Probably England
Ice Hockey = Probably England
Cricket = England
American Football = Mexico
England is better than Mexico in boxing and swimming Mexico has never had a world champion swimmer. England has a few.

David Haye > Cris Arreloa.
Khan > Marquez
Khan > Ortiz Khan KOed Ortiz as an amatuer
Froch > Alfredo Angulo

England KOs Mexico in Boxing.

Mexico sucks in Athletics they don’t even qualify for the olympics. England is an regular qualifier to Track and field and athletics. How can you say Mexico is better?
Soccer England smashes Mexico. Especially historically.
